Astro continues to expand it’s local Tamil content with the launch of Raja Rani, a new drama series that centres on love, relationships, and the challenges that come with them. Airing every Monday to Thursday at 9.30PM on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202), the series is also available on Astro GO, On Demand, and sooka.

Raja Rani follows the story of Aadhi, a man caught between his past and present. After facing emotional struggles, he returns to his village in search of peace. There’s where he meets Kanmani, and what begins as a simple meet slowly grows into a meaningful relationship. With the support of their families, the two get married and begin a new chapter together.

However, their happiness is soon tested when Swetha, Aadhi’s past love, reappears seeking his help. Her return brings back unresolved feelings and creates tension in Aadhi’s marriage to Kanmani. As he struggles to balance loyalty and compassion, Aadhi is forced to make difficult decisions that could change the course of his life.
