Dhurandhar franchise created history at the global box office, as they become the first Indian film series to cross the Rs3000 crore mark. Dhurandhar led by Ranveer Singh, is a action packed duo film that has set new benchmark, surpassing big blockbuster films like Baahubali and Pushpa.
Record-Breaking Box Office Milestone
According to latest news, the combined earnings from Dhurandhar 1 and the sequel Dhurandhar 2 have reached Rs 3,019 crore approximately worldwide. The first film collected around Rs 1,307 crore, while the sequel alone contributed an impressive Rs 1,712 crore. This places the films ahead of Baahubali which was Rs 2,438 crores and Pushpa Rs 2,092 crore. Marking the highest grossing Indian film series to date.
Released on 19th March 2026, Dhurandhar 2 has been a box office hit, outperforming it’s 2025 film and maintaining momentum. The sequel features strong ensemble cast, such as Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjat Dutt, R. Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi.

Dhurandhar films follow Hamza, also known as Jaskirat, an undercover Indian agent sent on a high risk mission. In his first, he is tasked with dismantling criminal networks linked to major terror activities.
