Selangor State School Assistance Programme 2026 application is now open for the schools in Rawang, Selangor. This financial aid offers schools the opportunity toi obtain financial aid for infrastructure improvements. The application period is until May 15, 2026 and the submissions are required to be made online through the state’s official website.

Rawang State Assemblyman, Chua Wei Kiat, said the programme is designed to prioritise repair works and the upgrading of school infrastructure. This includes addressing essential needs such as building maintenance, classroom improvements, and the enhancement of basic facilities to ensure a safer and more conducive learning environment for students.

The initiative forms part of the Selangor state government’s broader commitment to strengthening the education sector by providing direct financial support to schools. By focusing on infrastructure upgrades, the programme aims to resolve long-standing maintenance issues while also modernising school facilities in line with current educational demands.

The programme builds on the state’s previous efforts, where a total of RM26.624 million was allocated last year to support school infrastructure repairs. That allocation benefited 873 schools across seven categories, including religious schools, highlighting the state’s inclusive approach in ensuring that various types of educational institutions receive the necessary support.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official portal. Schools seeking further clarification or assistance can contact the programme administrators via email at bantuansekolah@selangor.gov.my.
