The Vetri MADANI programme is taking a step forward with an upcoming event “Karnival Vetri MADANI”, an on-ground initiative to bring career opportunities, skills development, and community engagement to the public.
Taking place on 25th April 2026 (Saturday) from 8:30AM to 2PM at SJK (T) Vivekananda, Brickfields. The Karnival is organized by the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) in a collaboration with Human Resource Development Corporation.
This event will be officiated by Human Resources Minister YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan. This initiative is continuing the government’s push to strengthen career paths for the Indian community, specially those from the B40 group.

Based on the success of initiatives like the Malaysian Indian Skills Initiative (MiSI) 2.0, where majority of the participants secured jobs with good salaries, the Vetri MADANI programme aims to provide a more accessible platforms for skill training, employment opportunity and career growth.
Focus on Skills and Lifelong Learning
One of the highlights of the carnival is the talk session, which focuses on personal development and career preparation. Each sessions will be guided by industry speakers such as Soffian Amin, who will be speaking on “Lifelong Learning: A Journey Without Limits (Pembelejaran Sepanjang Hayat: Satu Perjalanan Tanpa Batasan”
And Puviyan Thevar Thiagarajan, who will be sharing insights on improving skills for career growth, “Small Steps, Big Changes: Enhance your Skills (Langkah Kecil, Perubahan Besar: Tingkatkan Kemahiran Anda”. These sessions will give guidance and motivate participants to take small steps towards better opportunities.
Visitors can also look forward for live performances by Malaysian artists, Sheezay and Arunboii, who will bring lively and engaging atmosphere to the event. The event is open to public and aims to open a space where learning, networking and entertainment comes together.
