A meaningful initiative to support patients in need was given out at the Sri Kunj Bihari SKBT Temple, where financial assistance were handed to 50 dialysis patients during a special ceremony.
The Dialysis Assistance Submission Ceremony was officiated by YB Gobind Singh Deo, is the continued efforts to ease financial burden faced by those undergoing long-term treatment. During the event, the Penang Hindu Endowments Board distributed a aid of RM1,000 to each recipient.

The contribution comes in a important time, as dialysis treatment and related medical cost continue to increase.
For some patients, especially from low income backgrounds, the expenses is overwhelming. The financial aid aims to provide relief and ensure patients can continue their treatment without stress.

Beyond this, the ceremony reflected the broader commitment to community welfare and support. The initiative shows the role of community organisations and government in addressing healthcare challenges faced by the community.
A few key figures attended the event such as Ramkarpal Singh, Kumaran Krishnan, Heng Lee Lee, R.S.N Rayer, and Lingeshwaran Arunasalam, and representatives from local councils and temple board.
