Jinoreeka Ning 15 year old squash player gave a impressive performance to win the women’s title at the SRAM Satellite 1 tournament, against top seed Anrie Goh in the final.
Competing at National Sports Council Courts, the Perak born player, won straight game with 11-6, 11-4, 12-10. The win is a milestone for Jinoreeka, who continues to rise with ranks and impressive performance.
Jinoreeka trains without a coach, which makes her achievement more notable. She recently was in the runner-up under-19 category at the Touch ‘n Go International Junior Open and placed second in National Junior Championships (under-17) this year in KL.

R.Manivannan, her father said the focus has always been on her development than the titles, saying she has already won 40 junior-level titles. The goal is to expose her to more challenging competition against older and experienced players.
The victory comes after Jinoreeka prepared for upcoming Asian Junior Championships in Panzhihua, China, from 20th May to 24th May, where she will competent in the under-17 category. Before this she won titles in the under-13 and under-15.
In the men’s final, Lee Jong Hyeong of South Korea upset Malaysia’s top seed Tay Jun Qian in straight games to win the title.
