Persatuan Profesor Universiti Swasta Malaysia (PPUSM) National Academic Excellence Forum and Award Ceremony 2026 is a prestigious event celebrating Malaysia’s leading researchers from private universities. Several Indian academicians from AIMST University were honoured at the prestigious PPUSM National Academic Excellence Forum & Award Ceremony 2026, further highlighting the growing contributions of the Indian community in Malaysia’s higher education and research landscape.
Held at Le Quadri Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the national-level event organised by the UCSI and Persatuan Profesor Universiti Swasta Malaysia (PPUSM) was officiated by Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and graced by Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli.

Among the distinguished AIMST academics recognised were:
Professor Dr. Ravichandran Veerasamy, who was awarded No. 1 in Chemistry among researchers in Malaysia’s private higher education institutions.

Senior Associate Professor Dr. Subramani Parasuraman, who was awarded No. 1 in Clinical Medicine among researchers in Malaysia’s private higher education institutions.
The ceremony also recognised three Indian AIMST academicians who were listed among the Stanford/Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025:
Professor Dr. Neeraj Kumar Fuloria
Senior Associate Professor Dr. Shivkanya Fuloria
Associate Professor Dr. Arunachalam Muthuraman

Their achievements reflect AIMST University’s continued commitment to impactful research, scientific innovation, and global academic excellence. More importantly, the recognition also highlights the remarkable presence and contributions of Indian scholars in advancing Malaysia’s research and higher education sectors.
