The India Gate Restaurant has made a significant contribution to the community by donating smartboards to Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil PJS1. This donation aims to empower students by providing them with a better and more interactive learning experience.
On May 16, 2026, during Teacher’s Day, India Gate Restaurant’s official Facebook page posted a video of the smartboard donation launch ceremony. During the event, SJKT PJS1’s headmistress, Rajeswary Subramaniam, expressed her gratitude to India Gate Restaurant’s founder and managing director, Saravanan Subramaniam, for his efforts.
She noted that the smartboard is a valuable tool that makes teaching easier for educators and helps students learn more effectively by adapting to modern technology. The Head Mistress also mentioned that the smartboard initiative was approached by the previous head mistress to India Gate Restaurant’s owner.
The India Gate Restaurant’s Founder and Managing Director, Saravanan Subramaniam believes that education and technology will help shape a brighter future for the community, particularly for the younger generation.
