Malaysian superbike rider, Santhiran A/L Naga Raju made an impressive debut at the 2026 MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship where he emerged as the MSBK1000 B Weekend Champion after winning both races of the championship. The MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship is one of the country’s premier motorcycle racing competitions, bringing together skilled riders from across the region to compete in multiple categories.

The races took place during the opening round of the championship at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. In Race 1 which took place on May 2, 2026, Santhiran secured victory ahead of experienced riders like Jeff Cheong and Chau Chi Chuen despite being his first-ever MSBK event and using wet tyres for the very first time.
On the next day, for Race 2 he had another intense battle following heavy rain and a delayed start but Santhiran once again remained composed and calm to claim his second win of the weekend, officially earning the title of Weekend Champion.

Reflecting on his remarkable victory, Santhiran noted that the weather made conditions tricky, but he focused on maintaining consistency and avoiding mistakes. He expressed gratitude to his team for providing an excellent setup for wet weather and thanked his friends who supported him as sponsors for the race.
Santhiran’s remarkable achievement has become a proud moment for the community, showcasing how determination, confidence, and hard work can lead to success even for a newcomer. His debut victory not only highlights local talent in Malaysian motorsports, but also serves as an inspiration for young riders and aspiring athletes to continue chasing their dreams regardless of challenges or experience.
