The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to empower Tamil National Type Schools (SJKT) in Penang by making sure that all students receive strong educational support from the preschool itself. This establishment of preschools in Tamil schools plays a important role in creating early learning spaces that helps children build a educational foundation before moving to primary education.

He highlighted that early childhood education is essential in shaping a kid’s emotional, and social development, and also helps students to build confidence and interest in education from young age. As Chairman of Penang Tamil School Special Committee, Dato Sundarajoo shared that the committee allocates RM2.4 Million annually for infrastructure development across all 28 SJKT schools in Penang.
