The convocation ceremony also recognized students through Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia Convocation Ceremony. It is to celebrate those who completed Diploma Level and Level 3 certifications. Apart from academics, the children also showcased their talents through traditional performances such as bharatanatyam, silambam, and veenai performances, which reflects SSDI’s aim to approach towards nurturing discipline, confidence, and cultural appreciation.
Book Launch and Welfare Expansion
Another highlight is the launch of a book called “Di Sini Bermulanya Sebuah Mimpi”, written by Suresh Kumar N Vellymalay, who documented the journey and impact of SSDI throughout the years.

The ceremony also witnessed a key presentation for SSDI’s new elderly care home initiative, which is contributed in loving memory of the late parents of Thirunavukkarasu. The initiative marks SSDI’s expansion form child welfare to elderly care services.

The SSDI students and alumni was honoured with “Amazing Malaysian Book of Records” for their achievements in bharatanatyam, silambam and Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia categories.
