Fans of Gatta Kusthi can celebrate as the makers has officially released Gatta Kushthi 2 teaser, giving a glimpse into the next chapter of the sports-comedy film.
Directed by Chella Ayyavu, the sequel continues the story of the husband and wife duo played by Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi after the 2022 hit film.
The teaser begins with few moments from the first film, reminding viewers the challenges faced by Aishwarya Lekshmi’s character and the gender biased attitude Vishnu Vishal’s character.
However, the sequel is to show a completely different side of him. The teaser shows he is now a fully supportive husband and is willing to do anything to help her succeed in her sports career. The light-hearted moments, family interaction and emotional bond of the couple shows the sequel will retail the charm that made the first film a success.
Several cast members from the first part is still in the sequel, including Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth, Karunas, Lizzie Antony, Sreeja Ravi and Gajaraj.
July Release Is Confirmed
The film is produced by Vels Film International, and Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Gatta Kusthi 2 is scheduled to release on 3rd July 2026.
The music is produced by Sean Roldan and cinematography by K.M Bhaskaran with editing by Barath Vikraman. Recently Vishnu Vishal and Kaali Venkat has revealed that the biggest highlight of the sequel is the climax, which raises expectations between fans.
