SJKT Taman Tun Aminah girls hockey team (known as TUTA JEWELS), created school history after becoming champions at the Johor Bahru District Schools Sports Council (MSSDJB) Hockey Championship 2026.

The team gave a impressing performance at the tournament and won with 1-0 score with SK Kempas in the final. The winning goal came from Nishika Sai Suthagar, whose golden goal made the school receive championship.

The team showed teamwork, discipline and determination in every match. And scored 20 goals, marking a new milestone for the school’s girl hockey programme. Their championship victory is not just a proud achievement for the team but for SJKT Taman Tun Aminah’s hockey team.
Individual Stars Shine
Several players received individual honours for their exceptional performances. Nishika Sai Suthagar was the Top Scorer, with 9 goals throughout the competition.

Meanwhile, team captain Darshika Sellappan was the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), recognising her leadership and contribution to the team’s success.
The school thanked a few of them who was behind this achievement, including the coaches, Teacher Pongiyannan Ganesan, and Teacher B.Pravindran, and Teacher Saranya Sivam, the team manager. The school’s hockey teachers under 1M1S programme also played a important role.

Also they thanked the school’s headmistress Mrs. R. Rajeeswari, Senior Assistant for Co-Curriculum Mrs. B. Jayanthi, the school’s teachers, the PIBG, led by Dato P.Raju and Dato’Seri M.Dinesh, as well as parents who supported the team.

A Proud Moment for the School
For SJKT Taman Tun Aminah, the victory represents more than a trophy, its a symbol of unity, hard work and perseverance.
