A long standing land ownership issue of SJKT Kuala Kubu Bharu is finally resolved after nearly two decades. This provides the school greater certainty for future development and expansion plans.

The announcement was made during a working visit to the school by Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh, with Selangor Human Resources and Poverty Eradication EXCO V. Papparaidu.
According to V.Papparaidu, the efforts to get ownership for the school started as early as 2007. An official application for land ownership was later submitted to the Ministry of Education in 2021.

The matter was brought up during the Deputy Education Minister’s visit to the school in 2024, where Papparadiu made a report to help coordinate and get approvals involving the Selangor State Government.
Following the recent review this year, the land successfully gazetted as school site. As a result, the school is now given a Permanent Grant for a 24,823-square foot-parcel of land beside the school, officially resolving the issue after almost 20 years.

New Allocation for School Development
Along with land ownership, SJKT Kuala Kubu Bharu has also received new funding from the Federal and State Governments.
The Ministry of Education announced additional allocation of RM100,000 for the school, and Selangor State Government will contribute RM60,000.

Of the state allocation, 50% will be used for programmes that are related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The remaining 50% is allocated for renovations, and infrastructure improvements to provide students a more conductive learning environments.

This achievement is a strong cooperation between many other parties including, Federal Government, Selangor State Government, Hulu Selangor Land and District Office, Hulu Selangor Municipal Council, Selangor Land and Mines Office, education authorities, the school administration, the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) and local community.
The resolution of land issue is hoped to help and support the school’s future growth and create better educational opportunities for generations of students.
