Public transport users can now enjoy greater convenience as Rapid KL’s RM150 Digital Monthly Pass (Rapid Bulanan Pass) can be purchased and renewed through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet application.
This move is aimed to allow commuters to manage their monthly travel passes digitally without having to visit service counters.
The RM150 Digital Monthly Pass offers unlimited travel for 30 consecutive days on Rapid KL’s rail and bus network, including MRT, LRT, Monorail, BRT, Rapid KL buses, and MRT feeder buses. The digitalisation initiative aims to provide a seamless and cashless experience for commuters, making pass renewals faster and more accessible.

While the RM150 pass provides unlimited travel benefits, it differs from the My50 pass in terms of eligibility and pricing. The My50 pass, which costs RM50 for 30 days, is exclusively available to Malaysian citizens and offers the same unlimited travel coverage across Rapid KL services. In contrast, the RM150 Digital Monthly Pass is open to both Malaysians and non-Malaysians, making it a suitable option for expatriates, international students, and long-term visitors.
For Malaysian commuters, the My50 pass remains the more affordable option due to the government subsidy. However, the introduction of digital renewal for the RM150 pass ensures that all passengers, regardless of nationality, can conveniently access unlimited public transport through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet platform.
