SJKT Ladang Changkat Kinding in Tambun, Perak, has reached a significant milestone by securing a land title after 109 years. Previously, the land was owned by a private owner, but it has now been officially transferred to the School Board of Governors (Lembaga Pengelola Sekolah – LPS).
The handover of the land title from the private owner to the school was officiated by Dato R. Suresh Kumar, Special Officer to the Prime Minister for the Tambun constituency.

With the acquisition of the land title, the school management can now move forward with plans for new building developments. Mrs. Maharani, the principal of SJKT Ladang Changkat Kinding, expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in securing the title. She also mentioned that a portion of the land will be allocated for the construction of sports facilities for the students.
Dato R. Suresh Kumar emphasized the importance of securing land titles for Tamil schools, explaining that having proper documentation will facilitate government assistance.
Additionally, there are several Tamil schools in the same district that have faced similar issues with land titles. The progress of the land title application for SJKT Chemor is currently underway.
