Directed by Kishore Kumar, Heartin has Sananth’s heart split between the two women he fell in love with at different points in his life. The upcoming romantic drama depicts Sananth caught between Madonna Sebastian and Emaya, unable to shake his feelings for both women.
The nearly two-minute-long trailer suggests that Sananth fell in love with Madonna’s character, after which they part ways due to undisclosed reasons. He then encounters Emaya in Jaipur and develops feelings for her. However, during a vacation that Emaya and Madonna join without his knowledge, chaos arises, which then results in comedic and tense moments. The film also seems to provide a deeply emotional angle for Sananth’s character through his heartbreak experience and the dilemma of confusion on whom to choose as his partner.
Alongside the lead cast, the film also stars ‘WhatsApp’ Mani, Debnita Kar, among others. On the technical front, the film is carried by Rajesh on cinematography, Rajesh Murugesan composing music, and Barath Vikraman on the editing table. Heartin is produced by R Ravindran under the banner of Trident Arts and co-produced by Step One Studios.
Releasing in theatres tomorrow, Heartin marks Madonna’s comeback to Kollywood after playing the iconic Elisa Das in Leo (2023). The musician-actress made her debut on screens in 2015 with the ever-celebrated Malayalam love drama, Premam (2015), which not only introduced us to Madonna but to two other stellar actors, Sai Pallavi and Anupama Parameswaran, alongside Nivin Pauly and a myriad of cast. Madonna then went on to play more prominent roles in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam industries while also developing her musical career on the side.
Meanwhile, Sananth, recognised widely for his performances in films like Petta (2019), Mahaan (2022), Jil Jung Juk (2016), Demonte Colony (2015), and more recently, in Neelira (2026) and Jigarthanda Double X (2023), is all set to star in his upcoming Heartin, releasing tomorrow.
