The possibility of Baahubali 3 is once again a hot topic after Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty teased the third part of the blockbuster franchise.
The excitement started after the clip from the documentary Baahybali: the Torchbearer went viral on social media. In the video, three of them hinted that the film may not be over yet, which leaves the fans excited about another sequel.
During the conversation, Rana Daggubati said he is unsure if he should reveal any information publicly, before saying that there would be a “Baahubali…” and stopped mid-sentence. A while later, Prabhas smiled and held three fingers up while Anushka laughed. The clip ended with them saying “And the legacy continues!”
The short moment went viral quickly with many fans believing the 3rd part is finally happening. However there is no official announcement from Rajamouli or the film’s producers. Details like the storyline, cast, production timeline, or release date is not confirmed.
The Baahubali franchise started with Baahubali: The Beginning in 2015, which starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar. The film was a huge success and praised for the storytelling, performance and visual effects.
The sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion released in 2017 became one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time, collecting around 1,788 crore worldwide.
While fans continue to wait for a confirmation, the latest moment builds a hope that the epic saga will return again.
