Students of SJKT Ampang has brought immense pride to their school by delivering an outstanding performance at the 25th MILO International Karate Championship 2026. The competition was held at the Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, from June 25 to June 28, 2026. The international tournament brought together karate athletes from various countries and age groups, providing a platform for competitors to showcase their skills while promoting sportsmanship.
The championship was also graced by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who praised the tournament for providing young athletes with the opportunity to develop not only their martial arts skills but also discipline and self-confidence.

Karate Trio: Three Siblings, One Victory
The spotlight was on the siblings from SJKT Ampang: Thiseelyaaraj Kanagaraj, 10 years old; Minaaxi Rhiyanaraj Kanagaraj, 8 years old; and Mritanyaraj Kanagaraj, 7 years old. Together, they brought home an impressive collection of medals. Thiseelyaaraj won a gold medal, while Minaaxi Rhiyanaraj and Mritanyaraj each secured silver medals. Their remarkable achievements reflect their hard work, discipline, and determination, making them a source of pride for their family and SJKT Ampang.

Chemmoli Adds to SJKT Ampang’s Success
Adding to the school’s success, Chemmoli, 11 years old won a bronze medal at the championship. The achievement further highlighted SJKT Ampang’s growing excellence in karate and co-curricular activities. The school congratulated all four students for their outstanding performances and dedication.

The achievements of these young karatekas have not only brought immense pride to SJKT Ampang and their families but have also uplifted the school community.
