In an inspiring achievement for Tamil schools, students from SJKT Kajang recently showcased their remarkable skills, creativity, and innovative spirit at the Virtual Innovation Competition 2026. Competing against talented participants from various institutions, these young innovators stood out, earning gold and silver medals for their outstanding projects that addressed real-world problems.
The Drain Cleaner
A standout project that made the team win a Gold Medal came from a dedicated team of five students: Devadarsan Balakrishnan, Dhevyaa Deveena, Sadhanasari Shanmugasundararaj, Kirtesha Ravinthiran, and Sanjeevan Kesavan. They developed an innovative and eco-friendly tool named ‘The Drain Cleaner.’ This device utilises non-toxic materials to effectively clear blockages in household drains, presenting a safe alternative to traditional chemical cleaners. Their thoughtful design not only showcased their engineering skills but also demonstrated a deep commitment to environmental sustainability.
Smart Driver Alert
Another impressive project was presented by a team consisting of Sabarissh Nair, Thanshika, Arvind, Tharrshan, and Sanjeesh, who created an innovative tool known as the Smart Driver Alert. Acknowledging the growing challenges and distractions faced by modern drivers, they developed a alert system designed to enhance road safety. Their inventive approach secured them a gold medal, reflecting their awareness of current issues and their proactive solutions.
Argil Magic Cubes 2.0
In a testament to innovative thinking, another team produced Argil Magic Cubes 2.0, a dishwashing detergent formulated from natural clay, herbs, and plant-based ingredients. Unlike conventional detergents that often contain harsh chemicals, Argil Magic Cubes 2.0 is designed to be effective in cleaning while being gentle on the skin. The team carefully crafted a product that not only maintains the standard of cleanliness expected in kitchenware but also aligns with eco-friendly practices.
