The Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) recently celebrated the achievements by STPM 2025 high-performing students while extending financial support to tertiary students during a special appreciation ceremony.
26 students who achieved a CGPA of 3.50 and above in the STPM 2025 examination were recognized for their academic excellence. Among the 26 students, 7 of them scored perfect CGPA of 4.00 and received Outstanding Student Award.

The recognition shows PHEB’s continued commitment to encourage academic excellence and supporting students in their educational journey.
Supporting Higher Education
The Board also presented RM40,800 in financial assistance to 44 tertiary education students to help them continue their studies during the event.

PHEB has ensured that education is still one of the main priorities as they believe it is the key to transform lives and create brighter futures. The Board continues to invest in education and community welfare through various initiative to support students and families.
Recognising Student’s Excellence
The ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Lim Hui Ying, Jelutong MP and PHEB Chairman RSN Rayer, PHEB Deputy Chairman Lingesh R.A. and Vishvenathan Tangavello.

PHEB congratulated all the award recipients and hopes that their achievements would inspire more young people to strive for academic excellence and contribute positively to their communities in the future.
