The Ministry of Education (MOE) will continue to strengthen school development in Malaysia to ensure every child has access to quality education, no matter where they live or what their background is.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said school development is not only about building new facilities but also about making sure children continue to have better access to education as communities grow and change.
She said this is the key priorities under the Malaysia Education Plan 2026-2035, which focuses to provide equal educational opportunities in a safe, quality learning environment that helps students reach their full potential.
Supporting All Types of Schools
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for SJKT Ladang Labu Division 4 in Negeri Sembilan, Fadhlina said MADANI government is committed to support the development for all types of school, even Government-Aided Schools (SBK).
She added that every development project is to create more opportunity for children to received quality education while meeting the needs of growing communities. Part of the efforts, is the new school built to replace SJKT Ladang Labu Division 4, which is relocated to Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) area. The project is expected to complete in 2028.
The new school is built on a 2.4 hectare site, one kilometer from the location now. The four story will have 12 classroom, 15 special rooms, two preschool classrooms, multipurpose hall, a canteen, a guardhouse and a school field.
