Yayasan Hasanah has opened applications for its AI Education Grant, an initiative under Program Anak Kita (PAK) aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s education ecosystem through the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The grant invites proporal submissions from organisations that can develop and deliver AI-based education programmes to enhance the capabilities of the Ministry of Education system and its teachers in leveraging AI tools.
The initiative focuses on improving teaching quality, classroom learning processes, operational efficiency and student learning outcomes through the integration of AI technology. It also highlights the use of digital education platforms such as DELIMa to support educators and students in adopting AI-driven learning approaches.
Who Can Apply?
The AI Education Grant is open to organisations that are capable of designing, implementing and delivering AI education programmes that support the needs of the education sector.
Eligible applicants are expected to submit proposals that demonstrate how their AI-based solutions or programmes can strengthen teachers’ capabilities, improve learning experiences and contribute towards better educational outcomes.
The grant encourages organisations with expertise in education, technology and AI development to collaborate in creating impactful solutions that can benefit the wider education community.

Program Anak Kita (PAK) is a collaborative education initiative introduced in September 2024 by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF), with the support of Unit Pantau MADANI and Yayasan Hasanah, aimed at improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills, supporting students in their SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) preparation, and preventing school dropouts.
Through these efforts, PAK has reached more than 83,000 students nationwide, providing targeted assistance to address learning gaps and ensure more students have access to quality education opportunities.
