- Between 18 and 40 years old
- Working or underground industrial training in Kuala Lumpur
- Monthly income of not more than RM4,000
- Does not own a house within 35km of Kuala Lumpur city centre
Persons with Disabilities (OKU) may also apply for special units offered at a lower rental rate.
What Documents Are Needed?
Eligible applicants must prepare the required documents before applying online. All documents need to be uploaded in a compressed WinRAR or WinZip format.
The required documents include:
- Passport-sized photograph
- Copy of original MyKad (JPEG format)
- Certificate of single status
- Latest salary slips
- OKU card (if applicable)
The single status certificate can be obtained from an employer, JPN registrar, imam, or community leader. Applicants are also advised to label files clearly before compressing them to avoid processing issues.
How to Apply for Residensi Belia Cheras?
The application process can be completed online through DBKL’s housing portal. Applicants need to:

Step 2: Visit the DBKL e-perumahan portal at eperumahan.dbkl.gov.my.
Step 3: Fill in personal details and upload the compressed document file.
Step 4: Submit the application and wait for DBKL’s review.
