Oscar-winning composer and global music icon A.R. Rahman has stepped into the future of entertainment with the launch of ARR Immersive, a new app designed for Apple Vision Pro that blends music, storytelling and immersive technology. The app is aimed to transform how audiences experience art by allowing users to move beyond traditional viewing and listening experiences into a more interactive digital environment.
ARR Immersive was launched on July 22, 2026. The app is built on the concept of spatial computing, where digital experiences are designed to feel more realistic and surrounding. Through Apple Vision Pro, users can experience A.R. Rahman’s creative works in a three-dimensional format, creating a sense of being closer to the performance rather than simply watching it on a screen.

Featuring ‘Le Musk’ and Exclusive Performances
One of the key highlights of the app is the inclusion of content from A.R. Rahman’s 360-degree virtual reality film “Le Musk”, which has been re-edited specifically for Apple Vision Pro’s immersive capabilities. The film, which previously explored virtual reality storytelling, now gets a new life through advanced spatial technology.
The app also features three original Kathak dance performances that combine Indian classical dance with Western classical compositions. These performances bring together different artistic traditions, featuring dancers Pranith AP, Palak Chauhan and Mudra IV, with choreography by Kathak artist Shrita Baskar.
Another section, known as ARR Live, gives audiences access to A.R. Rahman’s concert performances in an immersive format, allowing fans to experience the energy of live performances through a new digital perspective.

Redefining How Audiences Experience Music
For A.R. Rahman, music has always been more than just sound, it is an emotional and visual experience. Through ARR Immersive, he explores how technology can enhance storytelling while preserving the emotional connection behind music and art.
The launch represents another milestone in A.R. Rahman’s long journey of experimenting with creativity and innovation. Known for blending Indian musical traditions with global sounds, A.R. Rahman is now using emerging technology to introduce Indian artistic expressions to audiences worldwide in a completely new format.
ARR Immersive highlights the growing connection between culture, entertainment and technology. By featuring Indian classical dance, cinematic storytelling and musical performances through immersive technology, the platform creates opportunities for traditional art forms to reach younger and global audiences.
