The late Sridevi’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Singapore, was unveiled a few days ago by Boney Kapoor along with daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi. The family of the late legendary actress seemed very emotional unveiling the statue and posing for the pictures.

The actress has been immortalised in her ‘Hawa Hawai’ avatar from her popular Bollywood film ‘Mr India’. The actress donned a gold-colored costume for the now-iconic song, one of her most fashionable avatars.

Film producer Boney Kapoor, who was married to Sridevi, yesterday shared glimpses of her wax statue on his Twitter profile. Sharing the video on his Twitter profile, Boney Kapoor wrote:

“Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans. Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madam Tussauds, Singapore on September 4, 2019.”

Madame Tussauds had decided to add Srivedi’s wax figure as a tribute to the late actor on her 56th birth anniversary on August 13. Sridevi died on February 24 in Dubai, where she had gone to attend a family wedding.

Sridevi started her career as a child actor at the age of four in the Tamil movie Kandan Karunai in 1967. Sridevi, who is often addressed as Bollywood’s ‘first female superstar,’ acted in 300 films in a career spanning over 5 decades.
