In a significant moment of pride, students from SJKT Arumugam Pillai excelled at the “Who Wants to Be A Scientist?” 2026 competition, held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi, on July 25, 2026.
SJKT Arumugam Pillai Students’ Achievements
The competition featured many students from schools across the nation, all showcasing their skills in the science field. Despite competing against numerous schools, SJKT Arumugam Pillai students performed exceptionally well, achieving impressive results. Akshayah Mahadevan emerged as the National Champion, highlighting her remarkable science skills and passion.

In addition to this achievement, Thamiliniyaa Thamilmani and Pranav Thinakaran brought pride to their school by becoming semi-finalists in the competition. Their accomplishments reflect the commitment and dedication of the students as they competed against many participants.

The strong support of the headmistress, teachers, and parents also deserves recognition, as they played a vital role in helping the students achieve these remarkable results and bring pride to the school.
