Actors Sreeleela and Simran met each other recently, and they shared some warm exchanges between themselves on social media earlier this Sunday. Sharing pictures featuring her with the Guntur Kaaram and Bhagavanth Kesari star, Simran wrote, “Always wonderful to meet someone who carries both talent and such positive energy so effortlessly. Keep growing and keep inspiring, @Sreeleela14.”
The actor shared Simran’s post on her Instagram Stories space and expressed, “You’re such an amazing human being with sooooo muchhhh warmthhh maam. Loads and loads of love to you,” followed by a few love emoticons. She also described Simran as “a generation’s inspiration.”
She left a comment under Simran’s post that reads, “Coming from someone I’ve admired for so long, this means a lot. Thank you, ma’am. Loads and loads of love tooo youuuu. Tight hugs.”
Interestingly, Simran tagged to her post a piece of music from the ‘Yamma Yamma’ song from the 2011 Suriya-Shruti Haasan starrer, 7 Aum Arivu.
The warm exchanges between the actors incited some excitement among their fans. A fan wrote, “When aal thotta bhoopathi met kurchi madathapetti,” referring to Simran’s iconic song from her film Youth with Vijay and Sreeleela’s popular dance number from Guntur Kaaram, respectively. “OMG my favourite dancers,” wrote another fan.
On the film front, Sreeleela is set to make her Hindi debut with a role in a film directed by Anurag Basu, co-starring Kartik Aaryan. Her upcoming projects also include Om, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and co-starring Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Naseeruddin Shah.
On the other hand, Simran’s upcoming projects include Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and co-starring Rajinikanth, Teacher, Gabru with Sunny Deol, and the long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram. Dharman brings her back together with the Superstar for the first time after they collaborated on 2019’s Petta.
