The spirit of patriotism is being brought directly to motorists nationwide through the Ekspersi Jalu Gemilang JAPEN@PETRONAS programme, held simultaneously at 15 selected PETRONAS stations across the country.
The programme was organised by the Ministry of Communications through the Department of Information Malaysia (JAPEN) in collaboration with PETRONAS. Communications Minister Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil officiated the programme at the PETRONAS NPE Pantai Dalam station in Kuala Lumpur.
Held as part of the National Month celebrations, the initiative also aims to strengthen the Kempen 1 Rumah 1 Jalur Gemilang (1R1JG) by encouraging Malaysians to proudly display the national flag at their homes, business premises, vehicles and public spaces.
As part of the programme, the first 200 vehicles at each participating PETRONAS station received a Jalur Gemilang magnet free of charge. The initiative aims to encourage more Malaysians to display the national flag throughout the National Month as a symbol of patriotism, unity and love for the country.
Dato’ Seri Fahmi also symbolically placed a Jalur Gemilang magnet on a member of the public’s vehicle, reinforcing the campaign’s call for Malaysians to express their national pride in their everyday surroundings.

The programme also highlights the collaboration between the public and corporate sectors in supporting the national agenda while bringing messages of patriotism and love for the country closer to communities. With the Jalur Gemilang magnets distributed to motorists, the campaign hopes to see more Malaysians proudly display the national flag throughout the Bulan Kebangsaan celebrations.
