Two young students from Prasekolah Vivegam, SJKT Nibong Tebal (SJKTNT) have made their school proud with their performance at KPM 2026 Volleyball Championship. Rashmika A/P Kathavarayan and Yaathave A/P Jagadhish won fourth place in the competition, marking a proud achievement for the school and it’s preschool volleyball team.
Their journey throughout the championship showed their fighting spirit, courage and discipline at such a young age. The students worked together as a team and remained committed throughout the different stages of the competition.

Before progressing in the championship, the team also emerged as runner-up at the state level, earning them the opportunity to compete at higher level.
The school also recognized the efforts of Pn. Jagkesvari Balakrishnam, who served as the mentor, team manager and coach. Her guidance, training, and commitment played a important role in preparing the young players for the competition.

Appreciation was also given to Puan Hazuani, the preschool officer from PPDS, as well as the teachers of SPS Selatan for their guidance, cooperation and continued support throughout the tournament. For SJKT Nibong Tebal, the achievement is more than just a placing in a competition. It shows what young children can achieve when they are given proper training, encouragement and support.
Rashmika and Yaathave’s achievement brought pride to the school and SJKT Nibong Tebal community, while also showing the importance of introducing teamwork, discipline and confidence from an early age.
