Sharing only its title with the classic 1999 romantic comedy, this film marks a stark departure into dark, edge-of-the-seat territory. The narrative centres on twist-filled, raw storytelling that pushes genre boundaries in local cinema. Featuring a transformative lead performance by Yuvaraj Krishnasamy, alongside Datin Sri Shaila, Magen Vikadakavi, and veteran actor KS Maniam, the movie offers a gripping departure from typical romance or action tropes.

Goa is still under Portuguese rule even if independence has swept over India. Raya must negotiate the difficulties of loyalty and morality in the turbulent years leading up to liberation in a city where violence, betrayal, and power intersect. The film examines the cost of one’s decisions and the potential for redemption amid the mayhem with its moody landscapes, dramatic action scenes, and morally torn people. Starring a star-studded cast consisting Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, the film is directed by actor-director Geetu Mohandas.
I, Nobody – Simply South
Rajeevan lives in a crowded city with millions of other people. He is a husband, a father of two, a government employee, and nothing about him is particularly noteworthy. Unnoticed and inconsequential, he leads a normal life. However, he sees something he was never supposed to see on a typical day. His life starts to fall apart as what starts out as a moment of shock gradually devolves into anarchy. Situations change. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Vijayaraghavan, the film is directed by Nisam Basheer.
