Construction work on the Dewi Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple in Majid India area is progressing well, according to YB Gobind Singh Deo, who recently visited the site to inspect the ongoing works
In a Facebook post shared two days ago, YB Gobind said he was pleased with the progress made so far after personally visiting the construction site. Beyond serving as a place of worship, he hopes the temple will grow into an important centre of the Indian community in the Masjid India area.
YB Gobind said his vision is for the temple to become a place that can support the community’s development and well-being in the years ahead.
He also expressed hope that once completed, the Dewi Sri Pathrakaliamman Temple will not only provide a meaningful space for devotees, but also play a wider role in bringing the local Indian community together.
The ongoing construction marks another step towards creating a permanent space that can serve both the religious and community needs of Indians living and working around Masjid India area.
