A little more Disney magic is making it’s way to Malaysian shores. Disney Cruise Line will introduce a new 4-night Disney Adventure itinerary featuring a stop in Langkawi, giving travellers the chance to mix cruise vacation with some of the island’s best-known experiences.
The new itinerary will be available on selected Disney Adventure sailings from 31st December 2026, offering guests a chance to explore Langkawi while also enjoying the entertainment, experiences and Disney service available on board.
For those already planning their holidays later on, Disney Adventure sailing dates from September to December 2027 will also be available soon, opening up more options for future cruise vacations.
Discover a Different Side of Langkawi
Known for it’s beaches, mountains and natural landscapes, Langkawi has many to explore beyond the usual island getaway Through Disney Cruise Line’s Port Adventures, guests can choose from selected shore excursions designed to make exploring the destination easier.
Travellers can make their way through scenic paddy fields before visiting Manchinchang Mountain, or head out onto the Andaman Sea abroad a traditional longboat. Nature lovers can kayak through the mangrove forest along the Kubang Badak River, where guests may get the chance to spot local wildlife along the way.
Those looking for something more creative can take part in a Batik-tie dye workshop and create their own keepsake to bring home from Langkawi. There are a few Port Adventures available, including the Cable Car Adventure to The Peak of Langkawi, which offers another way to take in the island’s scenery from above.
Other options include the Cave & Mangrove Adventure and Eagle Square, Viewing Tower & Magic Balm Experience, alongside more activities for travellers to discover. Malaysians interested in experiencing Disney Adventure can also head to the upcoming MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur.
From 4th to 6th September, Disney Cruise Line’s participating travel partners will be at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), where visitors can learn more about the cruise and plan their upcoming vacation.
Guest who book a Disney Adventure cruise vacation with participating travel partners during the fair can also receive an exclusive Disney Cruise Line luggage tag, subject to terms and conditions and while stocks last. With the addition of Langkawi, the new 4-night itinerary gives travellers another way to enjoy a Disney Cruise while discovering one of Malaysia’s most popular island destinations.
