A treat for Dhanush fans!
Dhanush-Vetrimaaran’s fourth film together is the upcoming Asuran. The duo had previously worked in Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai part 1 together. The official trailer of Asuran was released on Sunday.
After Polladhavan and Aadukalam, GV Prakash Kumar would be composing music for Dhanush-Vetrimaaran’s film while Velraj will be the cinematographer. Asuran is loosely-based on Tamil novel ‘Vekkai’, written by award-winning writer Poomani. The novel is a revenge drama that traces the journey of a young boy who’s on the run with his father.
While the novel told the story of revenge from the eyes of the 15-year-old Chidambaram (son), the film, from the looks of the trailer, seems to be focussing on the father’s journey.
