The Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) held a special prayer at Thannermalai Ganesha Temple to pray for victims affected by the devastating floods along the Nepal-Tibet border.

The prayer was held as rescue efforts continue for those who remain missing following the disaster. PHEB President R.S.N. Rayer and Deputy President Lingeshwaran R.A. joined members of the community in offering prayers and expressing solidarity with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
The special prayer also focused on the safety of Malaysians who are currently in or around the affected areas. The community prayed that those who are still unaccounted for will be located and rescued safely, allowing them to return home and reunite with their respective families.

Rayer thanked everyone who came forward to take part in the special prayer, highlighting the importance of coming together as a community during times of tragedy. He also conveyed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster.
An Athma Shanti prayer was offered for those who perished, as the community continued to extend its prayers and support to all victims, missing persons and families affected by the devastating floods.
