The makers of Dorothy have released a second single, ‘Muthumani’, from the film’s soundtrack. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, ‘Dorothy’ also marks Ilaiyaraja’s 1540th film as a composer.
‘Muthumani’ is a trance track with lyrics penned by Ilaiyaraaja, who also sang the song with Swetha Mohan. A music video for the song was also released simultaneously, directed by Bharath Muralidharan has directed the music video for ‘Muthumani’.
The cast of the film is led by Keerthy Suresh in the titular role, and also features Rishikanth and Sananth.
The crew of Dorothy includes director of photography S Thirunavukkarrasu, editor Ganesh Siva, production designer Kumar Gangappan, and stunt choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan.
Dorothy is set to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, with a theatrical release set for September 25.
Karthik Subbaraj is producing Dorothy under his Dhammam Films banner. Guneet Monga and Aachin Jain are also producing under the Sikhya Entertainment banner, with Jyoti Deshpande producing under the Jio Studios banner.
