It’s been a decade since Gautham Menon and Suriya work together in Vaaranam Aayiram, in which the latter played dual roles as father and son. Suriya may soon reunite with Gautham for a new project which will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
Apparently, Gautham has already been paid advance and he’s said to have traveled to London earlier this week to finalise everything with the makers. The details about the project are yet unknown but the rumour has it that the duo is joining hands for an action flick.
Gautham and Suriya were originally supposed to work together for Dhruva Natchathiram which was eventually made with Vikram.
Meanwhile, Gautham Menon awaits the release of Enai Noki Paayum Thota, which marks his first-time collaboration with Dhanush. The film, which is expected to release in September, features Dhanush as a college student and Megha Akash as an actor.
Gautham Menon recently completed shooting the first season of Queen, a biopic web series on the rise of J Jayalalithaa for MX Player. Ramya Krishnan plays Jayalalithaa in the series which has been co-directed by Kidaari fame Prasath Murugesan.
