Global beauty brand L’Oréal has appointed Manashi Guha as Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, effective from 1st September 2026.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Manashi will be overseeing L’Oréal’s combined operations across the two markets and will lead the company’s next stage of growth in the region. She succeeds Tomas Hruska, who has taken on a new role as General Manager of L’Oréal Poland/Baltics.

The appointment also marks Manashi’s return to Southeast Asia after being Chief Growth Officer for L’Oréal UK and Ireland recently.

18 Years with L’Oréal

Manashi brings 18 years of experience with L’Oréal, with her career taking her across Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East and Europe. She started her journey with the company in India before becoming General Manager of the Consumer Products Division in Malaysia and Indonesia.

She later took a bigger regional role as the General Manager of Consumer Products across SAPMENA, where she oversaw 15 subsidiaries across South Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa.

In 2023, Manashi moved to the UK as a Managing Director of the Consumer Products Division. Her work included growing L’Oréal across different sales channels and strengthening it’s social commerce presence.

She was later promoted to Chief Growth Officer for L’Oréal UK and Ireland, where she led growth plans across consumers, product categories, and sales channels. She was also involved in the company’s transformation plans and brand integration.

Returning to Malaysia and Singapore

In her new position, Manashi will lead a unified strategy for Malaysia and Singapore, bringing together the strengths of both markets. The company plans to build on the scale and opportunities of the Malaysian market, while also making use of Singapore’s position as an innovation and business hub.

Sharing her thoughts on being back to the region, Manashi said Malaysia and Singapore is very close to her heart.

“I am delighted to be returning to the dynamic Malaysia and a region I hold close to my heart. Together, these two markets bring a unique combination of scale, innovation, and consumer energy, with an opportunity to craft growth and nurture talent. I look forward to co-creating with the team the AI chapter of  L’Oréal’s journey”, said Manashi.

Her appointment brings her back to Asia where she previously held leadership roles, this time with responsibility for guiding L’Oréal’s overall direction in both markets.
