Members of the B40 community who have been experiencing back pain, joint problems or physical discomfort can now receive a professional health screening for free through a special initiative by CurePhysio PJ.
In conjunction with World Spine Day, CurePhysio PJ will organise a Free Spine & Body Screening Day on September 13, 2026, aimed at helping low-income families gain better access to professional physical health assessments.
Programme Details:
Venue: CurePhysio Petaling Jaya, Section 4
Date: September 13, 2026
Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm
Appointment: 012-211 0548
Advance appointment is required. The programme is specifically limited to eligible members of the B40 community.
Specific to the B40 Community
The community outreach programme will provide free screenings for 100 eligible B40 participants, particularly those who may have delayed seeking medical attention due to financial constraints.
The initiative aims to help identify physical and structural problems at an early stage, which can potentially prevent long-term issues that may affect a person’s mobility, daily activities and ability to work.
To ensure participants receive proper attention and consultation, the programme is limited to 100 eligible B40 community members. The first 30 participants who attend will also receive an exclusive gift on a first-come, first-served basis.

What does the free screening offer?
According to the programme, participants will be assessed for common musculoskeletal problems including persistent back pain, shoulder stiffness, knee pain, leg tension, frozen shoulder, disc degeneration and spinal conditions such as L4/L5 slipped disc. Participants will also receive a comprehensive assessment conducted by qualified healthcare professionals, including a Body Scan, Free Spine Check-Up, Spine Assessment and Foot Scan.

Through a non-surgical approach, the assessment is designed to identify possible causes of structural imbalance and provide useful advice to help improve posture, manage pain and restore physical mobility.
CurePhysio PJ Manager K Chalapathy is supporting the initiative as part of the centre’s efforts to give back to the community. CurePhysio PJ has also previously sponsored physiotherapy treatment for athletes involved in the Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
Those experiencing back, spine, or joint-related discomfort are encouraged to book their slots early and take a proactive step towards their long-term physical health.
