In a significant proud moment, Selangor athlete Jyayah Murugan has clinched a gold medal in the men’s F12 discus throw at Para SUKMA Selangor 2026, adding another success to the host state’s campaign at the national para-sports meet.
Jyayah delivered the winning performance at the UiTM Shah Alam Stadium, earning praise from the Selangor State Sports Council (MSN Selangor) for his outstanding achievement.

His victory was also celebrated by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who congratulated the athlete on his gold-medal performance and expressed his support for the Selangor contingent.

The achievement comes as Para SUKMA Selangor 2026 continues across various venues in the state from September 5 to 10. The games bring together para-athletes from across Malaysia, showcasing their talent, determination and competitive spirit.
Jyayah’s gold adds to the excitement surrounding Selangor’s participation, as the state continues to rally behind its athletes competing on home ground.
