A simple act of kindness shown by a security guard at Kajang Hospital two years ago has continued to be remembered, after a Threads user (aliffaim3n._) posted to praise the guard for his consistent care towards patients and visitors.

The guard, identified as Nagenthiran, is stationed near the hospital’s ICU and Ward 11. According to the Threads user, Nagenthiran had helped carry his mother from her wheelchair into their car after she was discharged from the hospital two years ago.

His mother had spent 12 days in the hospital, including time in the ICU, and was too weak to get out of her wheelchair on her own. At the time, Nagenthiran stepped in to hepp the family get her safely into their vehicle.

Two years later, the user returned to Kajang Hospital to visit an acquaintance and was surprised to find Nagenthiran still working there, and still showing the same kindness.

The post highlighted how Nagenthiran regularly helps motorists navigate the hospital’s narrow parking spaces, greets vehicles with a wave and patiently answers visitors’ questions with a smile. He was also praised for remaining focused on his duties instead of being distracted by his phone.

For families already dealing with the stress of hospital visits, small gestures like these can make a meaningful difference. Nagenthiran’s story is a reminder that kindness does not always require grand gestures, sometimes, simply offering a helping hand, a smile or a few moments of patience can stay with someone for years.
