Students of SJKT Taman Keladi, Sungai Petani, will have better opportunities to participate in sports following a RM100,000 allocation to upgrade the school’s multipurpose sports court.
The allocation was provided under the Sekolah Angkat Malaysia MADANI initiative and covers maintenance, repair, and upgrading works for the school’s sports facilities.

The improved court is expected to provide students with a safer, more comfortable and conducive space for physical activities, while encouraging them to take part in sports and develop their skills from a young age.
The initiative also highlights the importance of strengthening grassroots sports development within schools, where young students can be introduced to sports, nurture their abilities and discover their potential.

The project handover ceremony was officiated by Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari, with JBSN Director-General Puan Azura Abidin and JBS Kedah Director Encik Zurihanmi Zakariya also in attendance.
With the upgraded facilities, SJK(T) Taman Keladi students can look forward to greater opportunities to stay active, build confidence through sports and develop their talents in a better-equipped school environment.
