Keerthy Suresh, Rishikanth and Sananth-starrer Dorothy is reportedly seeing a late October Netflix release. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2026, before opening in theatres on September 25.
Dorothy is reportedly scheduled to start streaming on Netflix on October 23, 2026. However, Netflix and the makers are yet to officially confirm the reported streaming date.
This means October 23 should currently be treated as the reported OTT release date, rather than a confirmed one. If the date gets confirmed, the film will arrive on the streaming platform less than a month after its theatrical release.
Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Dorothy is set in the 1980s and centres on childhood friends Karthi and Subbu. The two grow up together under the influence of Subbu’s powerful family, but their lives begin to take different directions as they become adults.
