It is the last long weekend of September and Malaysia Day is upon us, so time to have a blast with your loved ones. This weekend sees a myriad of events happening in KL and Klang Valley.

We have decided to make things easier for you and shortlisted 5 AWESOME events, in no particular order, that you abso-freaking-lutely can’t miss this weekend in KL:

1. Uyire Uyire Hariharan Live In Concert

If your idea of a weekend is an evening swaying to evergreen tunes by a ghazal maestro, then this is definitely for you!

Multi-award winning singer, Hariharan will be performing alongside singer Chinmayi and accompanied by Maestro Flutist Naveen Kumar. The event is happening on the 14 September 2019 at the KL Plenary Hall, KLCC, between 7.30PM to 11.30PM. We heard tickets are selling out quickly, so hurry and get yours now!

2. Prakash Daniel’s Beautiful

Up for some rib-tickling comedy that will leave you in fits of laughter?

Two words: PRAKASH. DANIEL.

The homegrown funny man is performing at his inaugural solo comedy show and it is going to be an evening like none other. Inspired by the end of a romantic relationship, Prakash will be performing at ‘BEAUTIFUL’ that is happening on 14 September 2019 at PJ Live Arts at 8PM. So, empty your bladders and bring a brown paperbag (in case you start hyperventilating la Dei!) and meet the man in flesh.

Tickets are on sale starting at RM54 and can be purchased at beautiful.peatix.com.

If you want something rather peculiar, then this is the Deepavali Bazaar you have to be at! The ‘Not The Usual Deepavali Bazaar’ is founded by 3 quirky friends, Leben, Sheena and Aumshree, who aimed to house play, dress-up and accessorise without the pushy aunties reaching over your head and super narrow walkways. Among the vendors featured at this bazaar are Kanesha’s Collections, Rumpun Batik, HEY S.I.N.A.M.I.K.A., Sheezay Cosmetic, Chai Home and Anytime Cakes!

The ‘Not The Usual Deepavali Bazaar’ will be happening on 14 & 15 Sept at The School, Jaya One, PJ. For more info, head over to team.nottheusual

5. IGNITE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Bitten by the entrepreneur bug? Roll your sleeves and get yourself trained this weekend.

The IGNITE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is aiming to enable entrepreneurs to build a successful startup and attract investments. The attendees of the event come from all over the world and will be a great networking opportunity for business owners. The attendees will also have an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their business idea and win potential investment or mentorship support along with other perks.

The IGNITE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp will also host a panel of speakers  including Ms. Sumitra Selvaraj, Mr. Raj Ridvan Singh, Dr. Sivapalan Vivekarajah, Mr. Anthony David, Mr. Raja Segaran and Jaclyn Victor.

IGNITE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp happens on 14 & 15 Sept at IEG Complex, 1008 Annex, Menara Liberty, KL. Click HERE for more info.
