From police chases and construction crews to hidden treasure hunts, the new LEGO CITY-themed rooms offer families another way to enjoy their LEGOLAND adventure.
Imagine spending the day exploring LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, only to return to a hotel room where the adventure continues. That’s exactly what families can look forward to as LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort introduces its brand-new LEGO CITY-themed rooms at LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia.
Available from 10th October 2026, the new rooms bring the excitement of LEGO CITY from the Theme Park into the hotel, allowing children to continue creating their own adventures even after the rides have closed.
The latest addition joins the hotel’s existing themed rooms, including PIRATE, KINGDOM, ADVENTURE, LEGO NINJAGO and LEGO Friends, giving families more choices for their next staycation.
A LEGO CITY Adventure Right Inside Your Hotel Room
Inspired by the LEGO CITY zone at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Theme Park, the new rooms bring everyday heroes and exciting city adventure to life.
Children can explore a colourful world filled with police officers, firefighters, construction crews, deep-sea divers and escaping crooks. From police officers responding to a jewelery heist to criminals trying to escape, every corner of the room features playful scenes and hidden details waiting to be discovered.
The rooms are designed to encourage children to use their imagination, whether they’re pretending to solve a crime, helping city heroes or creating their own LEGO CITY stories.
Apart from the themed decorations, families can also enjoy the hotel’s signature room layout, which includes separate sleeping areas for adults and children.
The children’s sleeping area features a bunk bed and pull-out trundle bed, providing space for up to three children.
Bringing the LEGO CITY Experience Beyond the Theme Park
According to Ms. Thilakavathy Munusamy, Director of Sales and Marketing at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, the new rooms are designed to encourage children to explore their imagination while spending quality time with their families.
“LEGO CITY is all about inspiring children to imagine themselves as everyday heroes, whether they are building, exploring or creating their own stories,” she said.
She explained that the new rooms bring the same spirit of adventure found in the Theme Park’s LEGO CITY zone into the hotel.
The idea is to give families more opportunities to play, explore and enjoy their LEGOLAND experience together, even after leaving the Theme Park.
A Treasure Hunt Awaits Young LEGO Fans
The excitement doesn’t stop at the room decorations. Young guests can also take part in an in-room treasure hunt, where they follow clues hidden throughout the room to unlock special LEGO surprises.
This adds another activity to stay, giving children the chance to explore their surroundings while solving clues and discovering hidden surprises.
With its playful decorations, interactive activities and family-friendly sleeping arrangements, the new LEGO CITY-themed rooms offer an experience that goes beyond an ordinary hotel stay.
