AirAsia MOVE has been named Asia’s Best Travel Booking App for the fourth consecutive year at the World Travel Tech Awards 2026, reinforcing its position as a leading digital platform for travellers across the region.
The recognition highlights the platform’s continued efforts to simplify travel planning by bringing flights, accommodation, attractions and entertainment bookings together in one place. Beyond air travel, AirAsia MOVE has expanded its services to provide users with a more convenient and comprehensive travel experience.
A One-Stop Platform for Travellers
AirAsia MOVE offers access to flights from more than 700 airlines and over one million hotel options, allowing users to compare and arrange different aspects of their journeys through a single platform.
Its services include SNAP!, which combines flight and hotel bookings into one package, as well as attractions and activities through GetYourGuide. The platform also features MOVETIX, which provides access to live entertainment options, broadening its offerings beyond traditional travel reservations.
By bringing these services together, AirAsia MOVE aims to make it easier for travellers to organise their trips, whether they are planning a short getaway or a longer holiday.
Growing User Engagement
The platform has also reported growth in user activity, recording nearly 17 million monthly active users, representing a 22% year-on-year increase. It also registered 33 million journey searches, marking a 14% increase compared with the previous year.
These figures reflect growing engagement with the platform as travellers increasingly turn to digital services to research destinations, compare options and manage their travel arrangements.
AirAsia MOVE continues to develop its digital capabilities to meet changing traveller expectations, with a focus on improving convenience and making the booking process more accessible.
Expanding Digital Travel Services
In addition to its travel booking features, AirAsia MOVE has introduced AskBo, an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot designed to assist users with travel planning. The feature forms part of the platform’s wider efforts to incorporate digital tools that can help travellers navigate their options more easily.
The company also received two additional honours at the World Travel Tech Awards 2026, being recognised as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline App and the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Website.
AirAsia MOVE’s latest achievements underline its continued investment in digital travel services and its ambition to provide a more integrated booking experience. With its expanding range of offerings and growing user engagement, the platform continues to strengthen its role in the region’s evolving travel and tourism landscape.
