Discover Nimbu’s new pastel-inspired Zia collection, family-friendly festive wear and a special clothing return programme at Dia Guild, Bangsar Village II, from 23rd to 25th October 2026.
Diwali is just around the corner, and finding the perfect festive outfit is always part of the excitement. But have you ever wondered what happens to those beautiful outfits after the celebrations are over, especially when children outgrow them so quickly?

For Kriti Gupta, founder of Singapore-based family fashion brand Nimbu, that very question became the beginning of her business.
Six years ago, Kriti found herself looking at a pile of perfectly good clothes that her firstborn had already outgrown. Rather than letting those clothes go to waste, she began thinking about how families could enjoy beautiful clothing while giving each piece a longer life.

That idea eventually grew into Nimbu, a fashion brand focused on thoughtful designs, comfortable clothing and a more sustainable approach to dressing families.

Now, Nimbu is bringing its collection to Malaysia for a special three-day pop-up at Dia Guild, Bangsar Village II, Kuala Lumpur, from 23rd to 25 October 2026.
Meet Zia: A Softer Take On Diwali Fashion
One of the main highlights of the pop-up is Zia, Nimbu’s latest Diwali collection, inspired by light, warmth and the joy of celebrating with loved ones.
While festive fashion is often associated with bright and bold colours, Zia takes a different approach by introducing soft pastel shades, exclusive prints, detailed handwork and fresh designs.

The collection offers festive outfits for women, boys and girls, with different styles to suit their preferences.
For girls, there are lehengas and new sleeveless festive outfits, while boys can choose from kurta-pajama sets and kurta-dhoti styles. Women can explore long kurtas paired with pants for a more modest and elegant look.

The variety also makes it easier for families to find outfits they feel comfortable wearing, whether they prefer matching looks, traditional designs or something more modern.
Comfort is another important part of the collection. Nimbu designs its clothing with real celebrations in mind, from enjoying festive meals and visiting relatives to dancing, playing and spending time with family.
More Than Just Festive Wear
Apart from Zia, Nimbu will also bring its bestselling Festive Edit to Kuala Lumpur, offering more festive clothing options for women and children.
Shoppers can also explore some of the brand’s popular everyday pieces, including wrap dresses, playsuits and halter styles.

Made using soft, lightweight cotton, these casual outfits are designed to suit the warm tropical weather in Singapore and Malaysia. For Kriti, bringing Nimbu to Kuala Lumpur is an important step in the brand’s journey.
“Singapore will always be the place that started everything for us. Kuala Lumpur feels like the beginning of something new, and I can’t wait to meet the facilities there in person,” she shared.
Giving Outgrown Clothes a Second Life
What makes Nimbu different is its approach to clothing after it has been worn
Through its Buy, Use, and Return programme, families can return selected Nimbu children’s clothing once their little ones have outgrown them, provided the pieces are still in good condition.
During the Kuala Lumpur pop-up, customers can bring their old Nimbu pieces directly to Dia Guild.

The team will check the original purchase price, and customers will receive 15% of what they originally paid in Nimbu store credit, which can be used towards a new purchase at the pop-up.
The returned clothing can then be given another opportunity to be worn and enjoyed by another family instead of being left unused in a wardrobe.
It is a simple idea that connects back to why Kriti started Nimbu in the first place, making beautiful clothes that can continue to be useful even after children have outgrown them.
A Diwali Shopping Weekend with Fun Activities for Kids
The three-day pop-up is not just about shopping. Nimbu is also bringing a little festive fun for families visiting Dia Guild.
Parents can explore the collections, try on outfits and meet Kriti in person while enjoying light bites and refreshments. Children can also join free festive craft activities, including coaster making, air clay diya making and peacock decoration.
Here’s what visitors can look forward to:
23rd October (Friday), 2PM-5PM: Collection launch with refreshments.
24th October (Saturday), 12PM-3PM: Free coaster making, clay and art activities for children.
23rd-25th October (Throughout the weekend): Bring a friend and enjoy 10% off
The event will also feature Diwali snacks, giving families a chance to enjoy a relaxed festive shopping experience together.
Celebrating the Memories Behind Diwali
For Kriti, Diwali has always been one of Nimbu’s biggest seasons, but it also carries a personal meaning.
Growing up, the festival was about family gatherings, dressing up, sharing food and visiting loved ones. Today, seeing other families choose Nimbu’s clothing for those same celebrations has made the season even more special.

“When you see families celebrating in something you created, you realise you’ve been trusted with a tiny part of a memory they’ll keep,” she shared.
With its first Kuala Lumpur pop-up, Nimbu hopes to bring the same warmth to Malaysian families while encouraging them to think differently about the clothes they buy, wear, and eventually pass on.
