This film is going to be huge!
Initially, there were rumours of Vijay’s biopic on Jayalalithaa, titled Thalaivi, being shelved. But seems like work on the project is on in full swing, with the makers taking to social media to confirm the same. The film, which has Kangana Ranaut playing the late actress and former CM, is likely to go on floors after Deepavali.
While Vishnu Induri, who’s producing the film, confirms that the team is in Mysore for the recce now. Latest news is that they will be heading to Los Angeles later this month to finalise the four looks that Kangana will be sporting in it.
The team, including AL Vijay and Kangana, will be going to LA on September 19 to start working on the prosthetics. They have roped in Jason Collins, who has done prosthetics work in several Hollywood films, including Captain Marvel and Blade Runner 2049. Since Kangana’s four looks will differ significantly to showcase her age graph, the team is taking extra care on prosthetics and makeup.
