The latest song to release from Vijay-Nayanthara’s Bigil is a duet titled “Unakaga”, sung by Sreekanth Hariharan and Madhura Dhara Talluri.
The song has been released just a day ahead of the film’s grand audio launch.
The lyric video has photos of both Nayanthara and Vijay from the film, sharing moments together in the rain and while riding a bike. The song is penned by Vivek, the song has been composed by AR Rahman.
“Unakaga” is the third song to drop from the film’s album. Bigil has Vijay and Nayanthara uniting 10 years after Villu in 2009.
Earlier this month, “Verithanam”, a song sung by Vijay, was released by the makers. While the first single “Singappenney” was a track dedicated to women, “Verithanam” was delivered in Vijay’s signature style.
Besides the lead pair of Vijay and Nayanthara, the star cast also includes Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Yogi Babu, Sai Dheena, Vivek, Anandraj and others. Bigil marks the third consecutive collaboration between AR Rahman and Vijay after Mersal and Sarkar but this is the first time that the actor has sung in ARR’s album.
Bigil is expected to release for Deepavali this year. Produced by AGS Entertainments, the film has been directed by Atlee. Bigil will be Atlee-Vijay’s third film together after Theri and Mersal.
