What I love most about the month of Deepavali is the events that happen before the Deepavali day itself. Bazaars and events will be happening all over the country and we get to have so much fun!

NOT THE USUAL DEEPAVALI BAZAAR 2.0 has taken on the challenge of organising an Indian Inspired curated bazaar. This bazaar will feature 30 handpicked vendors selling everything one will need to make their Deepavali morning perfect. This is an event under the CSR effort by Pinnacle Events Stylist.

NOT THE USUAL DEEPAVALI BAZAAR 2..0

Date : 4th – 6th OCTOBER

Venue : SUMMIT USJ, SUBANG

Time : 10 AM to 8 PM

Features : 35 vendors, Free Workshops, Competitions, and Art Showcase

The organisers wanted “NOT THE USUAL” kind of bazaar and has taken measures to make sure this bazaar is unique and different.

Gracing the event will be YB Puan. Michelle Ng, ADUN SUBANG JAYA, Subang Jaya Councillors as well as honored guests and patrons of the event. YB Michelle Ng was delighted that Team NOT THE USUAL chose Subang as the venue for the event after a successful run at Petaling Jaya last September. She explained that Subang Jaya has come a long way and their residents will certainly welcome wholesome experiences and family fun.

This bazaar features 100% Malaysian owned and run businesses. This is such a great way for SME’s to give their business a chance to grow. On their Instagram and Facebook pages, each seller is introduced with a post featuring their best sellers or an idea on what they sell.

Aumshree Das, of Team.NOT THE USUAL said,

“All our sellers are Malaysians. Some are single mothers, retirees, stay-at-home mothers supplementing second income as well as young designers and entrepreneurs. We opened it to anyone selling Indian Inspired items that will enhance their Deepavali celebrations. From Health and Beauty products, to familiar Malaysian favorites, such as cookies as well as the ever popular, one-size-fits-all sarees, and not forgetting the most difficult items to procure, men and children’s items that we well designed and comfortable. These are items are hand picked and go through a vigorous vetting process because we want the best”

The team is a family run business with over 20 years of event experience. Each family member has their strengths which support different segments of events. Having hosted BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDINGS to CORPORATE RETREAT, Pinnacle Events Stylist takes pride in creating unique experiences for their guests.
